Here in Brasília (the capital of Brazil) during springtime we are blessed with so many Flamboyants (how we call this beautiful tree) all over. I have some nice shots too and soon will post a tabblo.

Correct me if I'm wrong, David, these are trees but can be bushes as well. I guess it depends on age.

Thank you Patty. These flowers are from many roadside flowering trees. The locals call them The Falme Of The Forest or Fire-Phoenix. During the month of April and early May, these flowers graced the streets of many residentil areas in Penang, my hometown.
