I hadn't seen the jardins des Tuileries through this angle. Well... what am I saying?! This is a Leftie's unique angle, as always. The penultimate foto is fabulous, gal. So delicate...

Surreal & soulful. And so few people in history are ever remembered. Like photographs, they fade: like buildings, they crumble, and their life is rewritten by people who have yet to be born.

Leftofcenter said at 9:49 a.m. on May 15, 2009:
The hand was cold but steady. One that you can count on. And, yes, Mike said it all. Thanks Fox, thx Sandy, Eliane, Enaldo.

Powerful angles, tender hand-in-hand.

Awesome. You have such a unique and wonderful perspective.
Hollyridger said at 1:00 p.m. on May 15, 2009:
Unique indeed.... very well done. As others have said, your hand-in-hand shot is outstanding - so delicate.
Lifequest22 said at 2:10 p.m. on May 15, 2009:
Every perspective in each image is superalitive. I don't need to go to Paris when I can sit in the comfort of my home and see the arts and history through Lefties eyes which is probably more imaginative than if I were there in person. The hand in hand image is completely Wasaaabiiii.

Thank you all for your enthus comments. Mike and Pam pretty much said it all. The strength of a woman's heart & soul perfectly portrayed by these timeless sculptures. The angles are a bit "off" only because at the foot of these masterpieces were a zillion of Parisians and tourists with bikes, picnic baskets, ipods, pets and screaming babies!! almost sacriligeous...

Onverwoestbaar of niet, dit is gewoon een mooi tabblo!

Beautiful sculptures! The angles and tones are lovely. My favorite is the hand in hand because it seems meaningful.

Magnifique. Telles les trois Grâces,
un ballet figé qui nous fait pourtant virevolter.

Jean-Emile: did you say that in French or in English?
PhotoPop said at 10:30 a.m. on May 20, 2009:
Truthfully, it was in English. The definition in French is much the same as English, n'est pas?
Leftofcenter said at 11:08 a.m. on May 20, 2009:
