Airshow Action

I know this is kinda long.  However, I got a lot of good pictures.  This is an airshow at the Marine Corps Air Station in Beaufort SC.  As you car see, the Blue Angels were there along with the US Air Force F-15, a Canadian Air Plane and several other stunt planes.  It was a great Airshow and we had a good time.

Nice action shots, Bill. You have the Blue Angels, and we have the Red Arrows over here. Hope nothing crashed. See smoke & fire in a couple of pics.

Mike, Thanks for mentioning the Red Arrows. I will look for them in the Web. We also have the Thunderbirds, the group from the Air Force, not forgetting the Snowbirds, from Canada.

Bill, this is a wonderful tabblo!

Here is the official website of the Red Arrows, if anyone wants to take a look at the site.

http://www.raf.mod.uk/reds/

"The Red Arrows are renowned throughout the world as ambassadors for both the Royal Air Force and the United Kingdom. Since the Team was officially formed in 1965, the Red Arrows have completed over 4,000 displays in 53 countries.
The Red Arrows’ reputation is built on the commitment and professionalism, combined with Royal Air Force skills, training and equipment. Many of the Red Arrows’ pilots and support staff have recently returned from Afghanistan and Iraq and many will be temporarily detached on operations overseas during their time with the Red Arrows.
We are proud to represent the values and professionalism of the Royal Air Force."

They have 8 red jets, and they must deliver an amazing performance.

The smoke and fire is what they called pyrotechnics. There was no crash or anything.
