Who Lives Here??
 
This is the little house we put under the barn for our outdoor kitties.
 
But someone else has taken up residence and left some eggs???
 
It's a duck! She flew over from the pond behind our house and figured the cat shelter looked like a good spot to make a nest. (The cats have a bed in the garage now.)
 
She is a Muscovy Duck and there are currently 8 eggs in the house. They should hatch 35 days from the date they are laid - so at the end of June we'll have some babies!

Annelies I'm not worried about the eggs but rather the ducklings that will be coming. Momma Duck is a big girl - she is MUCH larger than my kitties, so I'm hoping they will not bother her or the babies. (There are a few shots of my outdoor kitties in the next tabblo.)
