A walk in the country

I walked up along the left hand track, just to see what the view might be from the top.

I think it was worth it.

Perfect, perfect, perfect! You, Celia, and others always take excellent Nature pictures. Anything special in the water in the UK? LOL... Thanks so much, Mike! Have a great Sunday with your family! We in Louisiana have a perfect day today. I am going to leave home for a walk.

WOW, amazing colors!
Wildthing said at 4:20 p.m. on Jun 1, 2009:
I remember my dad saying he would never get a colour TV.........'Because it wasn't natural'. He held out till 1976, when I bought him one. He realized what he'd been missing. Funny how we cling to what we're used to, and sometimes need to be forced forward. I couldn't imagine watching TV in B & W again now. Life IS colour. Thanks for the comment ARTSY...Excuse the rambling:)
SnowWhite said at 7:36 p.m. on Jun 1, 2009:

Thank you, PAT.
Kwswanson said at 3:16 a.m. on Jun 3, 2009:
While I find the second more visually interesting, due to the color, in particular, the first one has more of an emotional impact - for me. I see it as pure optimism - as something I would like to see each morning when I wake up to remind me that no one really knows what beautiful things might be up over the hill for this - and every other - day. Maybe something really, really good...like a field of yellow...
