Thanks Susan and Bob. No, there's no patch-work in this tabblo.

All these photos show my hometown where I spent my childhood days running wild in the padi field. Me and my friends climbed trees, plucked coconuts and many other fruits, catching fishes in the field after harvesting and swimming in the irrigation canal.

Gone were the days when 'kampong boys' (village boys) played in the nature.

David, I like the way you "play" with the images. You do what is so beautiful, it seems a joke. I like too.

Very nice to see where you grew up, David. Those mountains in the background look close enough to visit and take photos of.

Thanks Neusinha, Doreen, Mike, Jorma, Dyowi and Annelies. Its apity the big wheel of development is getting nearer and nearer, soon we won't be able to see scene like this anymore.

Hi nice of you to show this I too remember the days when I used to follow my friends balik kampung to catch fresh water prawns and fishes notably fighting fish from the paddy fields and collecting quails' eggs. Those were the days, making and flying kites too

It reminds me of Indonesia. Well, you just live right around the corner ;-) We all have childhood memories and it is great to share them. Maybe we should create a group so that we can talk about the good old days?
Chaitiamma said at 10:19 a.m. on Jun 8, 2009:
Thanks Teo and Patrick. Glad to know that we share many things in common.

Patrick: Please start a group 'The Good Old Day' .

I really like the progression of shots, from the lush green to the reflections of the light in the sky on the water.
