* Estação de Esqui Presidente Médici-Garibaldi-RS*BRASIL*

Situada na cidade de Garibaldi-RS, a Estação de Esqui Presidente Médici, foi inaugurada na década de 1970, tendo seus tempos de ouro até por volta de 1997. Nesse período vários campeonatos foram feitos, onde cerca de 5 mil pessoas passavam pela estação durante os fins de semana . Idealizada por David Santini, com a ajuda de um professor italiano, desenvolveram uma espécie de polímero que poderia se adaptar ao solo para formar a pista artificial, sendo a primeira pista artificial da América Latina. Ao lado, esquiadores campeões da época, homenageados durante a mostra fotográfica realizada em maio passado.

 

Located in the town of Garibaldi-RS, the ski station of President Medici, was inaugurated in the 1970s, taking its time in gold until around 1997. Rosane, quero deixar aqui os parabéns para quem resgatou os objetos, as fotos e a história deste ponto turístico de nossa Região que se foi. That's an interesting tabblo for one like me, who is working with hightech polymers. I think this ski resort is less energy eating than the ski station in Dubai ;-) and folk still has fun.
