Moorlerche said at 4:53 p.m. on Jun 18, 2009: Wow, what a field of poppies. And such beautiful beautiful makros of the flowers, bee, bumble bees and birds. The robin, who is cleaning its feathers looks so cute. I have a feeling you have atained a new camera or mastered a new stage with a photo development programme. There is a new sharpness and strength in colour in it without appearing artificial.
Tomorrow is midsummer evening, the true start of summer. I could use some of these flowers for winding a flower wreath for the dance around the midsummer pole. I wish you a lot of really sunny, warm and leasure summerdays. Take care and thanks for this marvel.

I am still using my Canon EOS 450 which I have had for a year now but today with the addition of a new sigma macro lens. I then use simple photoshop techniques, but I have used these for the past year, so I guess it is the lens that makes the difference. It is incredible to think we are already nearing the longest day and the days will be beginning to shorten! But we still have summer to look forward to. Wishing you a great weekend. Everything is so perfect and beautiful that we do not have much to say. The urgency is to see the pictures, the colors, the ambiance. We may think that it is almost impossible, but you prove again and again that you can compose better tabblos, one after the other. The fish is opening the mouth looking for some air; the bee is caught stopped in the air; the birds are on branches or on the ground; flowers of so many different colors and forms appear on almost each photo; and the first and last picture moved me to contemplate Nature and to give thanks for what we have. Thanks so much, my Friend!
