What an excellent set, Kristina. I love the low angle shots of the lake, and the boy in the wheelbarrow.

Krisu said at 8:26 a.m. on Jun 22, 2009:

This looks like a great adventure. I only went camping once in my life...it was on the small island of Paros in Greece. After two nights next to drunk people from Norway who where celebrating their MD degree I returned to Athens :-D

Ericf,
I was a Girl Scout when I was few years younger than now, too! :D Thanks.
Robert,
It is, very beautiful. And the best part is that it is only 10 min away from home by car! ;)
Patrick,
Not so happy memories? :D But try again!
Enaldo,
We all seem to have camping memories. :) Thank you so much!
Doreen,
Camping is so much fun if the weather is ok. Thank you!

Connie,
It was a perfect weekend for the boys, the weather was nice and quite warm even though it was only May. (We might get some snow even in May and sometimes in June, too, but it's never permanent then, haha!)

Lovely shots from Finland Kristina. The running water is an amazing capture. The tabblo speaks of camp atmosphere. And I see you ate grilled ants on pancake for dinner as befits true survivallists.
Mirella said at 2:40 p.m. on Jun 22, 2009:
Ciao, Kristina. The details are fantastic: I like the fire and the pan, the water running, the boy in the wheelbarrow.....My sons were boyscouts too. Hughs, ciao ciao!

Kris, this is a wonderful set of camping with scouts. Looks like the boys did a great job setting up their site. I spent a lot of time camping with the Girl Scouts so this brings back lots of memories.
Krisu said at 3:31 p.m. on Jun 22, 2009:
Tack, Anke! I never noticed the grilled ants? Oh well, it's the meat in that dish and we are all still live and happy! :D :D :D
Ciao, ciao Mirella :) Grazie, thanks to you too, dear friend. It seems to me that we are all somehow connected to scouts! :D
Krisu said at 3:35 p.m. on Jun 22, 2009:

Debbie,
Tampere is situated between two big lakes, so almost everywhere you look there's water, haha! In May it's ice cold the water I mean, BRRRR! Yes, they are making thin pancakes or crepes. (Funny, I don't get the right feeling or taste in my mouth in foreign language, crepes are something you eat in France :D ) They have many names in Finnish: letut, plätyt, räiskäleet, ohukaiset ;)

Sue,
Thanks! That photo is one of my favs, too :)

Teo,
Thanks! Oh, yes, lake Näsijärvi is a great lake for fishing, too!

Noe,
Thank you!

Jesus,
Thank you, too!
