Allan, my first love is sketching, and I so admire your style and talent. I like how you photographed the notebook's wires. My favorite sketch is #8 NPA guerrilla and film maker. I also like how you drew a border around your sketches. They look like old newspaper political sketches...Oh and btw, so difficult to photograph art work, and you seem to have that mastered as well

Some words are used so often they tend to lose their meaning, their power. But these drawings are simply wonderful. The last one is a masterpiece, ALLAN.

Thanks Pam, Erich, Sydney, Eduardo, and Farid. Pam, I experimented photographing some of these drawings, but then I decided to scan directly, since the largest of these is 9"X12". Worked great, no fuss with lighting at 45 degree angles and all that. Some time ago I posted a tabblo of color drawings. I photographed those in days of film and Kodachrome and scanned the film. Those drawings were too big for my home-use scanner, but if I could have laid the drawings directly on a scanner I would have: way easier.
