Bee Balm

My Aunt Blanche introduced me to this plant.  Once she picked some of the flowers and leaves - she crushed them in her fingers and told me "Smell this!"

After she passed away, I knew I must get one of these plants. This is the first year my Bee Balm has bloomed. It doesnt like being in a pot.

Every time I smell this flower, I remember my Aunt B.

They are beautiful flowers and the hummers love them. I can't seem to grow them for some reason, maybe my soil isn't right.

What a nice way to remember your aunt... I planted some roses to remember mine by as she love roses, bought them & a birch trio with my b-day $$ from her... but then I had to move...
