?? Did you capture the drops of water with a fast shutter speed or is it an "effect"?? How'd you get the water such a pretty pink?? (I'm so dumb... I'm just teaching myself photoshop and have a simple camera)

These are great, so clear. I have done a lot of these, too (taking up way too much space on my hard drive) but none have turned out so clear.

What kind of lens were you using? Mine's a D50 with an 18-200 lens. Thanks for any advice you might have!

Sure,
I used a bowl of water with a white background placed behind it.
I used a light bounced back from that background onto the water.
I hung a plastic bag with water over the bowl and made a small hole in it which gave me a steady flow of water drops.
I used my 5DMKII on a tripod with a cable release on f10 and 1/200 ISO 400.
Timing the pictures is try and miss process where you take ~400 pictures and end up with about 50 good ones.
It requires some practice and trying different things but after some time you will get what you are looking for.
