camera straps on window ledge at bottom

streetlight blur with driving rain

reflection of ...me! uh duh

**This past Saturday night there was a  sudden onset MIGHTY summer storm a-brewing! The last blue sequence was trying to shoot fast changing cloud formations and awesome lightning show outside but then GALE force winds (gusted up to 100 kph!) blew the cam and me ;-)  INSIDE., much safer (yet caused mostly blue blur captures).

**Tried for shots thru windows...all black...then used flash trying to capture the TORRENTIAL rains and following sudden POUNDING HAIL running rivulets down windows & streets (street light set).

**There were TORNADO warnings surrounding City of Edmonton east to Camrose area & Sask. border...

**Quite a night, tons of huge tree branches lying everywhere next day, fences down,  power outages in a few areas and many sirens all night, & large side of aluminum balcony cladding (10 ft. long!) almost torn off here, THRASHING into window 'til it could be safely grabbed & secured in somewhat lesser bad wind breaks....of course ONE VERY SCARED Jorgekat hiding under bed for hours!

**MIGHTY MOTHER NATURE AND ONLY MY CAM ... PROVIDED SOME UNEXPECTED ABSTRACT & FX SHOTS. COOL!~pmc.

Interesting Patty, I never liked the thought of a tornado. I used to be afraid of it when I was little watching the wizard of Oz.. Hope you do not get any Tornados!!~~Hugs ~Robbi

Excellent shots here.... very expressive given the bizarre circumstances. I think I might have been following Jorgecat's example!

WE are having really strange weather lately, but at least we can use it to our advantage and capture it on, I was going to say film, but no, capture it on digital. Nice finds Patty.
