The famous Fontana di Trevi. Design from Nicola Salvi. Built from 1732 till 1762. The central figure is Neptune and between the rocks 2 Tritones with horses, one calm, the other wild, symbolised the unpredictable character of the Sea

Beautiful photos of my Rome and of your journey through Italy. I'm glad you appreciated the Tazza d'Oro's cafe, one of my favourite since I was a child!!!!!! and the wonderful church of S.Maria dell'Anima, near Piazza Navona with its 4 Rivers and Fontana di Trevi.............Thanks to you, its always a joy to me. Thanks Mirella for your kind comment. The tour in Roma was wunderful, not the hectic an the many police force during the G8 top conference in Roma.

Mooie foto's en een mooie tour maar dit lijkt me geen Holland, de groep waar ik dit tabblo tegen kwam.
