One night, Titus was about to brush his teeth.  The toothpaste supply was low and he couldn't squeeze it out.  He walked out and told Mama Aor that he would get a scissors.  Aor was wondering what he was up to so she followed him.  Titus used the scissors to cut open the bottom of the toothpaste tube and showed Aor that there was a lot of toothpaste in the tube.  Aor was amazed at how Titus became frugal all of a sudden.  He ended up getting the toothpaste for another week.  He then cut another end and got two more days of use out of it.

It turned out that he saw a picture of King Bhumibol's squeezed out toothpaste tube that Teacher Oil showed him and he learned the cutting technique from his friends from school.

It was a good lesson in frugality.

มีอยู่วันหนึ่ง ก่อนที่จะเริ่มแปรงฟันก่อนนอน ธีธัชก็หยิบหลอดยาสีฟันอันที่ใกล้หมด บีบเท่าไหร่ก็ไม่ค่อยจะออก แล้วเดินออกจากห้องน้ำ อ้อเลยถามว่าจะไปไหน ธีธัชบอกว่าไปหากรรไกร อ้อก็สงสัยว่าจะเอากรรไกรมาทำอะไรเหรอ ก็เลยเดินตามออกมา เห็นธีธัชเอากรรไกรมาตัดตรงตูดยาสีฟัน แล้วก็หันมาบอกอ้อว่า "เห็นมั้ยยังมียาสีฟันเหลืออยู่ในหลอด" โอ..แม่อึ้งตะลึงอยู่ตรงนั้น ลูกฉันรู้จักประหยัด!! เวลาใช้ธีธัชก็จะเอาแปรงสอดเข้าไปในหลอดยาสีฟันด้านก้นแล้วก็ปาดเอายาสีฟันออกมาใช้ ทำอย่างนี้อยู่ได้ตั้ง 1 อาทิตย์แน่ะ ยังไม่พอค่ะหลังจากล้วงควักแล้วไม่ค่อยออก ก็เลยเอากรรไกรมาตัดด้านข้างยาสีฟันอีก คราวนี้สามารถล้วงยาสีฟันที่ติดอยู่ตรงแถวๆปากหลอดมาใช้ได้อีก 2 วัน
