I think Fisherman is a hard job, many times on sea and sometimes dangerous. Thanks for sharing Doreen.

It is a dangerous job, many rough seas, gear lost and many times, lives lost. The ninth photo is the fish plant where all the fishermen take their catch and also where I get my lobsters.

Actually it was a Tuesday. Most of the people were at work at the fish plant. But it is a very quiet place to live.

This takes me back... baiting trawl and working at the fish plant wasn't that bad I guess, but all I can remember is how I still smelled like fish even after a bath. <G> Great set Mom; ... There's a few more houses up since I've been there.

Beautiful compositions! And the colors of the fishing boats are highlighted in contrast with the darkness of the water. Photos #1 and #11 are my favorites. This tabblo gives us peace and calls us to reflect about life, death, survival, Nature, global warming, and the hard life of the fishermen. This is a wonderful tabblo!

Love the sea..the boats and the way of life of these brave men that have the sea as their workplace and life. I see similarities with this special breed of men all over the world...they are half human and half fish....

My computer will not let me download my pictures from my chip. I do not know whats going on.It just won't do anything. Its so frustrating.

Rhonda, I am having trouble with my Mac recognizing my camera, for now it is downloading my pics, but eventually it will stop because a warning is popping up about not closing off properly, but I can't, so I am going to try uploading my pics to an external hard drive. I don't know if this will help you or not, but I think it has something do with your camera.
