TOD means "Tabblo of the Day" (the best tabblo posted today) - and you do deserve this award...

Dbibians said at 10:54 p.m. on Aug 4, 2009: I think there is nothing more encouraging than getting people to be inspired to go places just by looking at your photos no matter how ordinary it is. Thanks again for all your comments. As Buschinho & Weimar had experienced, Turkey is a photographer's dream. I was there in early July, but was told Turkey is at its' best right around May to late June. If you are planning to go, here's a few tips for you. For best scenery landscapes, Eastern Turkey : The nearer you are to a border the better it is. I took most pictures in Dogubayazit where Mt Ararat is. For unique landscape formation: Cappadocia (of course!) Take a hot air balloon early morning for arial photoshoot. For night lights: for me it was Bodrum. City, water, old castle & boats, plenty of creative ways to take them. For romantic village & good historical ruins: Selcuk & Ephesus. For Architectures & cultural events, Sultanahmet in Istanbul has plenty to keep you busy for days. Take a tripod down to the Basillica Cistern and you will get a thrill of getting eerie photos of underground cistern with water dripping on your head.. :)) (forgot to upload the photo which I had taken hand held.. not so clever idea). I was there for only for 2 weeks and only covered less than half of Turkey. I'm sure Turkey has plenty more to offer.
