Summer Colors

These are some images I took near my new home in Accokeek Maryland.   The swamp lands offer so much beauty and yet, so many just drive by!

All Images are HDR using 5 exposures separated at 1 EV.  Photomatix Pro (details Enhancer) used in post production.

Wow, these are really beautiful. I have no idea about how HDR works, but I am sure it doesn`t make miracles if the photo is not originally good.

Eduardo, the concept is this for HDR: Take a set number of images of the exact same scene with different exposure settings (Keeping aperture same) and then combine them with special post production software... so what it gives you is correctly exposed areas in all the light in the scene - No loss of detail in the highlights or shadows in the same scene (unless you want to!).

I don't like HDR processing that makes a scene totally unrealistic to the eye..There are some out there that HDR can be overbearing and render the world something more like mars! Some of this is really cool but for me, most is just not my cup of tea!

I use HDR with much less strength and try to keep my images as natural as possible but enjoying the expanded range of light I can capture in on final image.
