Incorporated in 1634, Ipswich takes pride in the fact that she has 58 First Period (pre-1720) homes, the most of any community in the United States.  The home above was built in 1725.

Ipswich is approximately 25 miles northeast of Boston on the Atlantic Ocean.  She has one of the most beautiful beaches on the east coast of the United States and is known for it's world famous Fried Clams.

Mark, these pictures provide a fantastic look at the entire 375 Anniversary Parade. It would be great if they could be somehow linked to the town website. I wonder if the library would like a copy. Thank you so much!

After the parade you stopped by to give us presents of CDs and choice enlargements. I learned that you purposely selected our house as a backdrop. For those who live in Baker Sutton House circa 1725, thank you for your generosity and for taking such great photos which we will treasure and share with friends and family.
