Waiting

I just got home--I spent the weekend (and 1.5 extra day) in Zamboanga Del Norte (about four hundred miles from Manila) where I was fortunate enough to teach a dozen of fellow photography lovers.

 

When I was invited to teach, I was a bit hesitant because I didn't know anybody in Mindanao Island (where the venue is). But I think, my sense of adventure and appreciation of their enthusiasm to learn photography made me pack my bags, bring my photography gadgets and fly hundreds of miles away from my comfort zone.

 

Everything was worth it.

 

Thanks to the wonderful and friendly people of Dipolog City and Dapitan City.

 

I had been waiting for the longest time to go to Mindanao, and you made everything right. For the warm welcome, hospitable treats, and photography-love conversations, I will forever be grateful. :D
