Before I started to set foot outside my own country, I only knew Big Ben of London...of course from History books and seen it from movies..

 

But early this year I saw another from Hongkong and another from Thailand...and hey...we have that too!!!

 

 

So whats with the Countries and this Huge Clock Towers for...i wonder?? for Landmark? or to track time since no wristwatches are available then...;)

Nice clock tower, Aubrey. I know we run our lives by time. These days I choose not to wear a wristwatch, and usually don't know what the date is.

Nice Mike sometimes i guess we need to do that..not to let time measure the moments we spent with loveones or even our alone time...just cherish every second of it :)

We also have one called The Town Clock and it overlooks down town Halifax. Lovely shots ! ! ! !

Hey.........we have one in George Town too. And you are right, during those time, even pocket watches were meant for the rich only.

In Las Vesas there are no clocks in the casinos.
