The Muttart Conservatory

Edmonton, Alberta

 

 

Set in Edmonton’s lush river valley, the four pyramids of the Muttart Conservatory shimmer in the sun, home to thousands of species of plants, both domestic and exotic. They are named the Tropical, Temperate, Arid and Show Pyramids (The Show Pyramid is changed completely about six times a year. The displays feature flowering plants that create seasonal celebrations of living color.)

Nice set of modern pyramids, Patty. Seems a shame that the Hotel Mcdonald is now crowded and overshadowed by such soul less buildings.

Thanks to all of you dear sweet friends but I kinda 'snuck' this one in....will be mostly GONE AGAIN for next 2 weeks anyway..(the old 'working holiday that never ended' lol) , I feel bad that I can't view and comment as much as I used to (or at all) but i do look at thumbnails and circle page as well as most popular...TRUST ME I'M WAY TOO TIRED some nites to even turn 'puter on! This set was taken on THE ONLY afternoon for about 2 hrs, that wasn't spent out in Camrose doing reno's or RECUPERATING ow ow OW!!! from said renovations! lol haha ...must say I am shaky again with fighting tabblo tools as well as REAL TOOLS too!?. THIS ONE TOOK 2 DAYS OF #**## uh er re-learning... tee hee! thanks for the 3 favorites whoever you are! luv and 'be back soon' and for good! Patty xo

Yes Patty I visit this Gardens a lot off time in Edmonton. It's a wonderful walk from this Gardens over the bridge to the Center off Edmonton and take a brunch in that restaurant on th 24 floor turning around above the hotel.
