We were admitted! It was definitely an adventure flying to Bermuda... or at least trying to get on the flight from Atlanta. Kyle and I didn't know what was going on, but the woman at the counter trying to get us our tickets kept mummbling about things not looking good, even writing a big VOID on our printed tickets. But- a true answer to the prayers we were both praying in our heads- she without a word handed us tickets, and we dashed to security to get on our flight. A few short hours later we were in Beautiful Bermuda! 

The first 'post-man' on the island was a man who took it upon himself to deliver mail personally. Later his home was made into the first official post office which they still use, maintained in its original state. It is located in the capital, Hamilton. 

The homes, churches, etc were all bright coral reef modeled colours. I loved driving around the island on the scooter just to take in the unique architect of the island... and see beach after beach lining the cost.

We enjoyed Scooting around from beach to beach along the island... most places we would be the only ones on the beach for as far as we could see. 

Our Cabana: the second place we stayed at for 4 nights was at a place called 9 beaches. We stayed in our own cabana with a beautiful ocean view to wake up to each morning. The cabanas were made out of a thick canvas type material which lined the wooden structure of the building. As well, each cabana had a solar panel which was the source of your electricity.  This 'Green Friendly' Resort was a lot of fun, and very laid back- perfect for relaxing as well as adventuring! 

So much good snorkling on the island! Kyle and I carried our borrowed snorkle equipment around daily looking for new places to snorkle- which wasn't difficult!

SWIMMING WITH THE DOLPHINS!! Kyle and I got to spend some time one day in the city of St. George, swimming with dolphins. Our dolphin's name was Luna and she was soo cute! We had a blast!
