On Sunday, September 13th my three sons, Jason, Aidan and Gaelan and i took part in our first jimmy fund walk for cancer in boston. equipped with a portable dvd player, books and toys for the little ones, we walked 13.1 miles in honor of our father/papa who had recently passed away in january of esophageal cancer. this walk was our little way to do something constructive with our grief and loss as well as raise money towards research. |

These images are not the most professional looking shots as many of them were taken while actively walking but they give an overall feeling of our journey. |

We come into the Fenway Park area where the first game of a Red sox double-header is just letting out. All of a sudden there was a mass convergence of jimmy fund walkers and red sox fans. Interesting chaos ensued as people tried to navigate around one another! |

We cross through our last gate......only a little more than a mile left to walk! |
