I just love this pic. we've all been there, no laptop cam back in my days. it's so spontaneous and you can tell the little dude is used to this IMAC-thingy, even though he's probably just waiting for breakfast, a bit grumpy, but "oh there goes grandma again with her photos..." A FAVE (but you knew that)

It was still DARK out!!

LOL needless to say, Grammie brewed a huge pot of coffee and mustered up for a full day of fun and kisses and hugs and playing with his Mamas old toys and singing songs, and reading books and ice cream and Ball at the park! and that was just the morning! :))

A terrific shot, PK. Maybe it's the blue, but I can't help but imagine that you are watching TV in the semi-darkness... The Shining, or perhaps Roger Rabbit:) And Carter can't wait for his legs to grow long enough so that he can use the foot rest on his highchair.

thanks guys! love your comments and empathy! I was actually trying to take the photo of Carter eating his breakfast to send to Amy and I had myself in the shot to test the light. My expression says it all! Resigned and bemused at the situation.

Thank you all for the warm and funny comments. I sure enjoyed every minute of Carter's visit, even the pre dawn breakfst calls. Being a grandma is the best.

Michelle, sharing Carter with you is one of my most joyfilled activities.
