In Italy we have celebrated the World peace Day burying our 6 soldiers who died in Afghanistan..........Do you really think there is a Peace possibility around the world ? In every day behaviour you can see acts of violence.....Almost half of the human beeing wants Peace for themselves, but not for the other half....I dont' believe in The day of.......mother, father, labor, family, memory...and so on !

PEACE seems to be perplexing and out of our reach...but it begins with each one of us in our "everyday behavior"...and Neusinha says it right when she says that the hope is in our children... We must try somewhere NOW though...TODAY. The idea behind the PEACE ONE DAY on Sept 21 is to give a pause to the madness...when the violence does stop it gives a chance for PEACE to do it's work...
I know that violence is fueled with complex HATE...a little white dove seems ridiculous compared to it~ yet it is an ancient symbol for a very good reason...the dove is a messenger of something way beyond man's understanding.
