I just read that thanks to the efforts of countless volunteers, donations (in cash and products) of the local middle class and the wonderful weather they had a top proceeds of € 24,000!! The proceeds of the autumn market goes to 2 goals, namely the Pallieterburght in Capelle aan de IJssel and maintenance of the village church. Pallieterburght is a children's hospice for serious (incurable), or chronically ill children from the South-West Netherlands.
