Hey Pam, Thanks for the nice compliment that you give me. (It made me blush ;-)
Thank you Yondercreature, Noreen ( I've made these photos with my Sony 200 and I've used a regular 18-70 lens in the the macro mode.)
Bill, Rosane, Robya, David, Debra ( thanks for the welcome, I have a little bit more time so you will see me more on tabblo) John, Ira, Loes, Robert, Mike en Henk. for your visit, comments and compliments.
What about the butterflies;
The first butterfly is an European Peacock, Dagpauwoog (Inachis io or Nymphalis io), photo 2,3,4, and 6 is The Painted Lady Distelvlinder (Vanessa cardui) and photo 5 is a Red Admiral, atalanta of admiraalvlinder (Vanessa atalanta)

THIS IS TRUE WORK OF ART! I KNOW HOW DIFFICULT IT IS TO CAPTURE A GOOD SHOT ON A BUTTERFLY!

wow, sind diese Aufnahmen wundervoll, Gerard!!! Ich liebe es ja so, wenn das Objekt völlig scharf ist und der Hintergrund verschwommen und wie gemalt aussieht.
