When I thought I had given up all, I didn't really know that I was holding onto a little piece, still. |
With my fist clenching that little bit in self-protection... |

...I couldn't open up to hold onto anything else. |
So, some gentle help was needed to help me see... |

...that little piece of my heart... |
...that I was holding back... |

...was holding ME back... |
...and I need to give up... |

...holding onto that piece of my heart... |
...even if it seems like I have lost... |

...and let go of everything dear to me. |
But, I cannot hold on to anything better... |

...unless I let go of that which is inferior... |
...in order to gain that which is infinitely superior.
For all who have faced loss, I dedicate this tabblo to you to encourage you with hope that there is more to this life than suffering and pain.
In my life, the hand that holds mine is the Author and perfector of my faith. My hand and heart are in good hands, even though it doesn't always feel like it! -YC
Thanks to K. Lam for being the other hand model and lending us the camera. Credit to Terry for taking these shots for me. The black and white shot was taken by J. Voeuk. Concept for the photos is mine.
