Cisneiros is a very small village where my grandpa was born and lived for many years. The most important coffee warehouse in Minas Gerais was located there. Now it's just a ruin, as well as the old bridge.
My grandpa managed a hotel, his sister was the Post Office Agent and they lived in front of the train station. There are no post office nor hotels anymore. No more trains. The train station was demolished some years ago.
My grandpa and his sister are buried there. I'll join them sooner or later. It's a great place to rest in silence. |
