Gran juego de tonalidad, geometría y significado.

Superbe set. I love the shot of the rooster in front of the wreck.

Thank you, CHARLES, ROBBI & MIKE. The colors were not changed - pics were just scanned and adjusted, to get sharper. This sepia is natural, believe it or not...

Gracias, LILIANA & JESUS.

Salamat, DYOWI. The last pic was shot without any "artistical" intent, during a professional inspection (I was going to design a project for this old building). But it turned out one of my faves, too.

Obrigado, NEUSINHA & ENALDO. Gostei do "still motion"!

Merci Edu.

Very good tabblo Eduardo.

The chickens seem to be alone, there must be a house handy, but it looks deserted and abandoned. Excellent shots ! ! !
Leftofcenter said at 9:10 a.m. on Oct 9, 2009:
you are like Andreas, you must have a safe full of brilliant photography from all your travels. this is different (scanned?), I like #3 of course the table & chairs, the fans remind me of your broken dolls tab, something violent about that image. favored 6 times already, so I'll skip this one :)
Pkeener said at 10:51 a.m. on Oct 9, 2009:
I thought these looked familiar? I really love this set and the fans are my fave, as I collect them!
Chaitiamma said at 11:55 a.m. on Oct 9, 2009:
Love the #1 photo !!! Great Tabblo !!!
Chilla said at 1:29 p.m. on Oct 9, 2009:
Very artistic Eduardo, for me it will be #2
Eduardo.affonso said at 4:25 p.m. on Oct 9, 2009:
THIERRY: It's the feeling of solitude, dryness and abandonment that links these images, in my opinion.

DOREEN: Cape Verde is a very desertic country, with almost no trees - and it's hard to believe that people can survive in such environment.

ROSANE, DAVID & CELIA: Thanks for stopping by. My fave, in this set, is #4...

ANNELIES: My goal is to be "favored" (thanks for the word!) at least 7 times a day (doctor's prescription...), but don't worry, a good hearted person (yes, there are some here on Tabblo) did what you could not. Like Andreas and Marco Polo, I too have a safe full of photos, souvenirs and precious maps to be used in case of need (lack of subjetcs in a conversation, lack of new photos for tabblos, deep solitude in a Friday night...).

PAM: You are right, #1 had already been posted on one of my first tabs (called "Cape Verde, nha cretcheu) about 3 years ago. I scanned that image again and thought it would fit perfectly in this set. You have never photographed your collection of fans - I'd love to see them.

Liliana said at 6:22 p.m. on Oct 9, 2009:
Yo no lo escribí, pero la foto que puse también era de papel, escaneada, no digital. La primera es de una desolación total... Todas, en realidad, tal vez sea mayor por lo abierto, casi infinito. Las gallinas son seres insólitos. Recuerdo que en Maresias, hace mil años (1993) no había nadie ni nada, una playa vacía, hermosísima y ¿qué apareció...? ¡¡Una gallina!! ¡En la arena, junto al mar!

Todo o layout combina, as cores, as tonalidades.
Mas, queria ver mais.

Very beautiful shade of photos
Ebucar said at 11:28 p.m. on Oct 12, 2009:
Gostei demais! Eu nunca imaginaria que a primeira foto fosse Cabo Verde. Eu teria arriscado Arizona... sei lá... algum desses lugares desérticos dos Estados Unidos. Deve ser mesmo ignorância geográfica.
Ebucar said at 11:30 p.m. on Oct 12, 2009:
Também tive a mesma sensação que Liliana: sutil e poético.
GeorgePL said at 5:48 p.m. on Oct 14, 2009:
Very cool. It feels like a Sergio Leone film.
