I remember us lying on the lawn and some foreign person playing guitar not far away. I remember our little group of students rowing up in a line one behind the other on that staircase in the first picture giving each other a massage after having visited I don't know how many churches. And I remember going back from Palazzo Pitty crossing Ponte Vecchio and turning right into the next side road. There was an ice-cream parlour that boasted 80 different sorts of ice-cream and 8 variations of cream. We were in paradise.
