Munising Falls

Munising Falls, tumbling some 40 feet over a canyon edge.

The maples that dominate the landscape here create a dramatic groundcover in the fall.

Officer: Can I see license and registration please?

Dog: Woof.

Officer: It says here you're only 7 years old.

Dog: Not in dog years, Officer.

Despite the cold and snow we were experiencing, moss was still thriving.

Fallen birch trees contrast beautifully with the green moss and lichens, and the rusty colors of fallen leaves.

Dying plants clinging tightly to their remaining fruit.

Yellows that define the color itself.

Delicious shades of red, orange and yellow on the maples everywhere you look.
