Photo #2: un superbe oursin des forêts semble t-il, chez nous les esprits mal intentionnés appellent cela ""coussin de belle-mère"". Il ne manque plus qu'un cèpe pour se croire en Cévennes. Debdog said at 6:18 p.m. on Oct 21, 2009: well i feel a season drawing to a close beautifully.....the first image is a fav the bright blues against the maple leaf.(o canada! nice work i feel the chill and smell leaves and woodsmoke from a distance :)
Leftofcenter said at 6:24 p.m. on Oct 21, 2009: we're not the land of maple tree for nuttin'! :) #1 is my favorite too. this week-end should be the peak for the colors, but I chose to publish the less flamboyant side of autumn (it's that mood swing-thingy...) thx, Deb.
Sd14 said at 6:36 p.m. on Oct 21, 2009: perhaps you could show us more of the gorgeus Canadian fall colours mabe ahhhhh maple syrup, pleasure
AliDar said at 6:49 p.m. on Oct 21, 2009: Huh... And apparently for modern photography as well. ... Of course I like the colours in the first shot, but that last shot pulls at my heart. ... Ah, I just read your comment about the mood swing-thing, that's why. :) You're not getting cabin fever yet are you? <G>
AliDar said at 6:50 p.m. on Oct 21, 2009: Kerouac wrote a book on writing? I have to look this up!
Leftofcenter said at 6:51 p.m. on Oct 21, 2009: Dar-ling where have u been???? missed your <G>s!!!! ;) yes I am. cabin fever is early this year :(

AliDar said at 6:55 p.m. on Oct 21, 2009: Sorry to hear about the early onset of cabin fever; ... and here I've been thinking about living in a cabin in the woods someplace. <G> (my upcoming tab will explain)
Please, and thank-you about the list. :)
NeusinhaGedoz said at 6:55 p.m. on Oct 21, 2009: SONG OF AUTUMN
Autumn touches organ In the courtyard of my life, Old song, always the same, Climb down the glass ...
Sadness? Charming? Desire? How can you know? A joy uncertain and painful From caress against the grain ...
From, O soul, you say? Spoon the time, in short ... But the paths of autumn They are going to nowhere!
(Mario Quintana - Brazilian poet)
Thanks Annelies.
Leftofcenter said at 6:58 p.m. on Oct 21, 2009: thank YOU, Neusinha. love to read poetry from faraway places. this one's beautiful!
Lifequest22 said at 7:15 p.m. on Oct 21, 2009: Well, this is a nice surprise.. You're making excellent use of your time while in cabin fever mode. Your feelings found a most excellent "form." You don't need flamboyant. Your choice of subject and framing has created a subtle yet strong impression of the season..
Lifequest22 said at 7:16 p.m. on Oct 21, 2009: Can't pic a fav image so I guess I'll just fav the tabblo. :)

Pkeener said at 10:35 a.m. on Oct 22, 2009: Scully and Fox...are you taking notes and recording results, or just loving the autumn feel to this tabblo??

J'ai cueilli ce brin de bruyère
L'automne est morte souviens t'en
Nous ne nous verrons plus sur terre
Odeur du temps brin de bruyère
Et souviens-toi que je t'attends

JuDeck said at 1:02 p.m. on Oct 23, 2009: Cabin fever with out the snow? Hard to understand that one when you have the colors outside to brighten the day. Our leaves here turn brown and fall and the palms stay green. Heading up to the mountains this weekend to see if there's a better change to view.
Change sometimes is a sad thing. Love seeing you're style is still LOC. ;)
Bravemoonbearer said at 1:26 p.m. on Oct 23, 2009: Beautiful colors and forms.I envy you with being surrounded by autumn's colors. The first photo really rocks and leaves me with a warm cozy feeling.

Juuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude!!! I missed ya!!! really!! "cabin fever" is more a frame of mind for me, I live in a wooded area, the colors are beautiful and I do go out for zen walks... the REAL cabin fever starts with the snow and deep freeze temps. SOON :(
