ROSELLA (one of my paintings, SO NAMED, by our dear Rhonda)

Rhonda and I had talked (via email) a few times in past years about her dear "Mohammey" and that I should start e-mailing with him because he SO LOVED to help people with (or without I suspect...) MARFAN or what is known sometimes as MARFANOID or MARFAN-LIKE conditions.  EHLERS-DANLOS  syndrome is, in fact,  A GENETIC SUBTYPE OR SUB-GROUP of MARFAN Syndrome.

 

Originally she and I discussed putting the below link into one of  her Tribute tabs to FURTHER EDUCATE, as was done with her MARFAN FOUNDATION link.  But, it's clear that the loss and grief and need to create her series of memories, photos and correspondence with her dear friend,  putting in that link is not the time now; and what she needs to do for herself at this time.

I BELIEVE Mohammad would want ALL educational and 'warning signs' out there and so does Rhonda. so.........

THIS 25 MINUTE video tells the whole story w/o having to read sites or text. IT'S ONE (now middle-aged) WOMAN'S story from childhood to now, and its SAYS IT ALL (misdiagnosed as  'klutzy', 'growing pains''peer stigmatization', all the sprains, and ever worsening joint issues.)..haven't watched it all but I suspect there will be the ever present 'pain is a sign of too much stress and/or 'it's all in your head social, medical and other reactions like I experienced when asking for help,"'

WHO HAVE ALREADY VIEWED THIS TAB...I'VE ADDED A VERY IMPORANT ..........VIDEO LINK TO WATCH directly from an EDS site TO VIEW 'takes u thru' one woman's (about my age or older?) story from childhood 'til now.
