Pattymaryclare said at 6:56 p.m. on Oct 24, 2009: Awwwh Louise this is ADORABLE! tho' over here we call them LADYBUGS! LOL (when 1 of my nieces was little she'd pronounce it 'yadiebug' tee hee!) THERE's a poem we said as kids too that goes with your BEAUTIFUL macros and varied color ladybird/bugs. We only seem to have orange ones with black spots! There are many variations (some kinda' gruesome) but here's the one we sang and Wikipedia identifies as Canadian version:

Si vous arrivez à compter le nombre de points noirs qu'elle porte sur son dos, ceux-ci représentent le nombre de mois heureux qui s'annonçent pour vous!!!
