Sukhothai, Thailand

27 September 2009

These photos were taken at the ruins of the ancient city of Sukhothai, Thailand's first kingdom during 13th century AD after they took over the Khmer Empire. The ruins are now recognised as one of UNESCO's World Heritage Sites.

I also love that first photo, I was at the right place at the right time. The tamarind trees looked dramatic complementing the scene. It was after the heavy rain so the water puddles added the reflections.
