This was a fantastic trip up the east coast of North Island to this seal sanctuary. Up close and personal. Scanned from 35mm slide film. Canon T-90 camera. 1995

Robert, these animals are very calm and charismatic. They always seem to be asking for a hug. Very beautiful this tabblo.

wow, these are excellent shots. cute seals. makes me want to visit North Island now (most people tell me the South Island is better)
