THE CASTLE ~~~~~ A Fairy tale for Halloween

p.s. AGAIN... i was really really TIRED WHEN i MADE THIS SILLY THING...  ;^)

IT WAS A DARK AND STORMY NIGHT

on October 31 in the year 1409 

 

and of course as ladies will do occaisonally...

a smiling lady wandered off aimlessly into the woods and as misfortune would have it... she came upon the mysterious stone pathway to:

 

THE CASTLE THAT LIES ABOUT THREE FEET BEHIND THE STAIRWAY TO THE MOON~~~

She tripped her way up the steps and after knocking once ...she entered the long dark corridor and paused for a moment...

Whether she was seeking her handsome prince or just hungry for a good piece of Halloween candy...we may never know...

 

The burning question: 

Is there any hope for this lady?  Makes you wonder doesn't it?

    For one thing she doesn't even seem to notice the creature sneaking up behind her...

!!INSTANTLY LOOMING OVER HER WITH A HOWLING SHRIEK THE FACELESS MONSTER CAST  HIS  SPELL~~~~~

 

 

Thunderbolt is heard

Steps of Mystery~~~

Not really sure what he was trying to do but what ever it was...his spell did not work

she kept smiling...

Ahhh, but just then and apparently with little or no warning...

 

A  GREAT GHASTLY  WITCH SPRANG OUT OF THE SHADOWS CACKLING, SPITTING AND SNICKERING AS SHE CAST HER SPELL TO TURN THE SMILING LADY INTO A HORRIBLE  GRAY SHRIVELED HAG!

Then a big mean wicked stinky henchman jumped out and tried to remove her head but she was exceedingly headstrong and he finally gave up after about an hour or so...the lady continued down the long hallway smiling...

I really can't bear to look!

FLOATING in thin air!

Wow, that sure didn't last long... kind of fun too!

This is no joke!  Somehow my feet disappeared!    Cool!

TAKE HEED ALL YE WHO HEARETH MY TALE...

 

GO YE NOT A -WANDERING ALONE ON ALL HALLOWS EVE...ALL HOLLOWS?.....HALLOWEENS  EVE AND ESPECIALLY  especially

DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR

 

THE CASTLE THAT LIES  ABOUT  THREE FEET BEHIND THE STAIRWAY TO THE MOON!"

EPILOGUE

T'WAS WHISPERED FROM THE TOWN FOLK NEARBY THAT soon after...

  THE HENCHMAN, MONSTER, LADY AND WITCH WERE ALL  SEEN TOGETHER HAVING COFFEE AT A LOCAL STARBUCKS~

P.S.  My kids and I have always loved dressing up for Halloween~ it's about the costumes (I collect them) and celebrating together...maybe a little bit about the drama?  ;^)

Terrific fun pics and narrative, Rhonda. Halloween is a great time to dress up and enjoy the festivities.
Personally, Being a werewolf, I stay home in my cave, avoid 'Trick or Treaters' brandishing pitchforks, and am glad when it's all over:)

that "ghostly moment in time" is well-done as far as the pics go! but yeah- the witch looks too cute and you're smiling too much to even appear remotely scared! :)
