Lin Hui, the Mama Panda

This is Lin Hui, a 7-year old mother Panda of a 5-month old cub now being cared for at Chiang Mai Zoo, located at Muang District, Chiang Mai Province, North of Thailand.

The Chinese government loaned a panda couple, Chuang Chuang and Lin Hui  to Thailand.  Lin Hui delivered her baby last May 27, 2009 and since then,  the Zoo has been one of the  main stops of all local and international visitors.

The cub though couldn't be viewed live so as to secure it from contamination.  It is visible through a computer monitor,  which in no luck  :(  I was not able to capture.

I never met one of these "in person", but I would love to. Hope you will take pics of the baby when you happen to see him.

Thanks Eduardo. Maybe, if luckily we can come back and the baby is big enough for live viewing, I would certainly capture her through my cam too. :)
