Way cool...your tabblo brings back good memories of the time when I used to live near SF !

Super shots Pam! San Francisco looks great! I love the first but my favourite has to be the cheeky shot with your smile in the reflection!
Eduardo.affonso said at 5:01 a.m. on Nov 9, 2009:
BART can be a great partner for a photo safari. It's nice to visit SF through your eyes. Btw, just like Celia, I like your self portrait...
Jesusgoz said at 6:03 a.m. on Nov 9, 2009:
Bien hecho.

Excellent Pam. To me this is pure nostalgia. As a child via the trams in the city of Porto Alegre, capital of Rio Grande do Sul - Brazil. Your photos are magnificent. I really enjoyed this tabblo. For me a favorite.

this is classic Keener, live shots, Im there with you guys, flowers in my hair. #10 is my favorite. the kids on the platform and the woman looking for change in her purse. I want to capture a shot like that!! I like the green house too and the mural of course. dope.

I wonder if I could roll on that thing for a whole day. And they got fat bottom girls too !
Moabjeeper said at 7:56 a.m. on Nov 9, 2009:
nice trip. The old homes are eloquent.

A very nice trip, thanks!

Another day in the life of a great city. Nothing extraordinary just people going about their business. Making the normal look eloquent. Well done.
Lifequest22 said at 9:05 a.m. on Nov 9, 2009:
Cruising SF on the BART with Keener is the best way to see the city. Is the smoke shop in Haight Asbury. The shots from in the streetcar remind me of your NYC subway shots..--shooting from the hip style..The girl is the striped orange and yellow thigh highs could be right out of the 60's.
Pkeener said at 9:32 a.m. on Nov 9, 2009:
The BART is a most excellent system. After breakfast in Noe Valley, we took the train into the city and successfully transferred (with barely manageable stress levels decoding the posted schedules). I sat by the window and enjoyed the view with my camera. I loved how the cables set against that deep blue sky, made such great patterns and framing for the city shots. As in all situations, I just pay attention and pray for serendipity. It usually works. It's not that my photos are so great, It's more that San Francisco is a wonderful place to be.

Linda, it is the best way to see the city, next to walking..
John, exactly. These shots just unfolded in their eloquence
Kris, thank you for joining me on my tabblos
Bob, the homes are amazing, and I needed your lens to do them justice!
Andre, you could ride all day..and be like that man in the song, The Man Who Never Returned. About the MTA in Boston. People of all sizes and shapes!
Leftie, that was random luck. heading to the train and looking over my shoulder. They have so many excellent coffee houses. That Mural was on one side of the Harvey Milk Center
Hi Shirl. Yes, on the floors. It's clean, too!
Oscar, thank you.
Neusinha is nostalgic for me to ride the train, as well. I am glad you enjoyed my photos. I am wondering if you love the movie Central do Brasil as much as i do
eduardo and Celia, the reflection of me is truly a mistake this time, while I am know to find myself in windows, this time I had no idea. Too busy studying the subject and the empty red seats next to her
Charles, I am envious that you manage to live in such great cities and glad you enjoyed this
Michelle, You can be Walter Mitty with me, any time you like

Pam, is the cable car going to the Fisherman's Wharf ? Unfortunately I took only video but no photoshots when I was there many years ago. Thanks for the fond memory.

Ordinary life in a city I know only on the detective's movies (up andown, up and down with super cars). I like candid photos in the underground. Bravissima, Pam!
