Top : This is the basement of the chapel. This is also shown in the last few scenes of the Da Vinci Code movie where Sophie and Langdon discover that the sarcophagous of Mary Magdalene is housed in Rosyln Chapel. Unlike the movie there is no trapboor , it's just a room. |

The ceiling of the chapel is the most interesting part of the chapel as this is where William St.Clair has supposedly left clues for grail hunters. The ceiling has traces of egyptian, mesopotamian and gothic architecture. It also has lots of masonic symbolism. |
