Night Kitchen Bakery

My wife Amy and I own and operate the NIght Kitchen Bakery (.com).  She handles the front and I bake most of the cakes.  We have a fabulous pastry chef named Alex who is responsible for 90% of the designs.  These are just a few examples of some recent cakes.

People often request popular pop icons for their themes.  Below you will see the influence of my yongest, Dan who describes himself as a Spongebobologist.

Da Bomb and a basket of flowers.

Fantastic! I can only imagine the amount of work that goes into just one of those cakes.

Thank you Sckraft and TBL. The cakes are a great deal of work. I do the baking and the fabricating of the icings, fills, doughs and my wife and our pastry chef as well as an assistant pastry chef work very hard to design and create the final products. We have many cake photos on our website which is the name of the tabblo flanked by the usual www and .com. We still need to get photos of breakfast stuff, etc. The bakery has been there for 23 years and my wife has owned it for 6 years this July. We love working together there and feel good to bring so many smiles to our Mt Airy/Chestnut Hill/Germantown neighbors. We also have a shop in Doylestown but I rarely get to see their smiles :-).

This is fabulous. I don't like cake though (they are too sweet for me), I'd like to have the train and railway cake in my birthday party.

Thanks Supersong115, many people including me count that one as a favorite. Thanks Lilisu, we make many cakes like that and often use the fondant cutout figures for decoration. The internet is very helpful to the modern baker since one can acquire images for reference there.

Delecious. Hmmmmm, where do you live?

We live near Philadelphia and our Bakery is in the Chestnut Hill section of Philadelphia, just add the .com to the end of the title of this tabblo, no spaces.
