Danube Delta

The Danube Delta is located in the south-east of Romania, about 350km from Bucharest and is the home of approximately 300 bird species and 50 species of fish. It spreads on a surface of 4340 km² and was declared a biosphere reservation.

The pictures are from our trip there in 2004. Besides the beautiful sites, we also enjoyed delicious local fish dishes.

Thanks, Jeri. As a matter of fact, I'm not living there. :) Just went for the holidays.
