Here are some pictures from my pasta-making experiment! I made the noodles myself and stroganoff to go on them.

My new year's resolution is to make all my pasta from scratch (just kidding).

It was kind of fun and wasn't hard.

It turned out well, but it sure is faster to just buy it.

The Technical details:

Basically, to make pasta you make a dough, roll it out really thin, let it dry out a little, then slice it up and either cook it or dry it some more and use it later.

I used half white flour and half wheat flour and a recipe from my Better Homes and Gardens cookbook.

How fun!! I'm glad that you are enjoying using that cookbook! It really inspires me to make something right now (or maybe I'll just look at the pictures and druel!)
