Thanks, Reta. These days they have the so called "open gates" at the Palace of the Parliament. But I think it may be visited at any other time. There are 2800 chandeliers made of 3500 tons of crystal. Ceausescu was a genuine megalomaniac.

Ceusescu was a true romanian!

No doubt about this, James, but what do you mean?

I remember this building as a huge, dark and ugly building, but it does look great here... About Nicolae C., I'm sure he was a true Romanian (he was born there) - but I am sure mankind will remember him as one of the worst disasters that ever happened to that beautiful country.

Eduardo, thanks for the kind words.
I admire the fact that you know so much about Romania. Too bad this is not true for me and Brazil, but I hope I'll change this aspect in the not so far future.

Nice shots Paul, your attention to details is impressive. Nice panoramic compositions as well. Although it is hard to shoot inside The Palace of Parliament (as in every large scale rooms), due to the custom WB settings a photographer must take care of, your frames look sharp and well exposed. Nice work!

Thanks, doc. You're far too kind. I've been a little WB settings sloppy. :)
