Practice: Long Exposures on Falling Water

Recently, someone (and I can't remember who unfortunately)  posted some long exposure falling water pictures.  That person inspired me.   Today - I came across a tiny stream in Leverett MA, and with the aid of a tripod, was able to shoot som pics at between .5 to 1.5 second exposures with no flash.  A lot of fun..

These images are the best of the lot from the ones I took... there were a lot of mistakes...  :-)

When I have more time, I'm gonna get down closer to the water and experiment more with different shutter speeds.

Fabulous pictures Roy. The water flow looks like it's been painted. Just beautiful. And the icicles look like fish hung upside down to dry. Well done :o)
