We spent a week in Montaione, Italy. A little village in Tuscany. Tuscany was more beautiful than we imagined! The night sky and the colors in the landscape were incredibly rich. We traveled to Sienna, Florence and Lucca. Lucca was our favorite. Sienna and Florence were so crowded, but still beautiful to see. We then traveled down to Positano. At first the tourism seemed to detract from it's natural beauty and the peace there, but soon the more we ventured up into the mountains of the Amalfi Coast away from the crowds we found charming little villages. we loved Revello. we spent four days boating around the area. Probably our favorite part of our trip. The water was magnificent! The restaurants that you can only get to by boat are fantastic! The food in Positano was wonderful, in particular a small restaurant up in the mountain village above Positano. We then left Positano and headed to Rome. Rome soon became our favorite city! We all felt we could live there.
