In the last few days, we've visited a few small galleries, art museums, and fashionable cafes, all of which show off Japan's traditional architecture and crafts. In particular, Japan is renowned for the clean, austere lines in its buildings, delicate simplicity in its pottery, and warm tones found in the many examples of what Japanese call their own "wood culture." |
