The official sport of Maryland is jousting. Something I have tried -- and enjoyed -- way back when. Thanks for bringing back the memories. A bit of trivia, in its very early days, Maryland was known as The Avalon Plantation, hence, jousting is a very appropriate choice for "state sport."
